New Hôtel Le Germain Calgary Announces Contest for Meeting Professionals

To celebrate its debut and welcome meeting and event planners, Hôtel Le Germain Calgary announces its Picks up the Tab! contest.
By requesting a quote from the company for a meeting, corporate event, celebration or special event, you immediately become eligible to have the cost of your meeting or event covered up to $10,000 in value. The prize includes room and rental catering and can also cover other event-related costs such as decorations, floral arrangements and bar service. The event can include a meal up to 50 guests or a cocktail reception for up to 100. Entries will be accepted until November 30, 2010.
The new, state-of-the-art facility features over 6,000 square feet with elegant boardrooms and a variety of private suites. Each of the Hôtel Le Germain Calgary’s seven event rooms, which can be separated for intimacy or combined for larger functions, features floor-to-ceiling windows with sweeping views of the Calgary skyline.
Each room is bathed in natural light from generously sized windows that are fitted with motorized blinds for total confidentiality. Meeting rooms have fully accessible conference equipment.
Rooms are sound-proofed, with an architectural acoustical ceiling, and appointed with a combination of custom-made wood furniture and contemporary furniture. An advanced lighting system and state-of-the-art audio visual systems easily adapt to the diverse needs of the particular function.
Customized banquet menu options, including ‘extreme green’ that options include 100-mile sustainable menu offerings, and biodynamic wine pairings are available. Banquets also offer guests and meeting planners unique mid-day workshops, such as cooking classes.
